Ash has the reassuring familiarity of a firewood people know and trust, giving a steady, dependable fire with good heat and a clear flame, while producing very little loose bark or dust when handled. Kiln-dried to below 20% moisture and Woodsure Ready to Burn certified, it is suitable for wood-burning stoves, open fires, fire pits and other suitable solid-fuel appliances.
With approximately 400kg of Ash firewood in each SingleDeck®, this format gives regular burners a substantial supply of dry logs ready at home. Logs are typically around 25cm long and arrive hand-stacked in a timber crate measuring approximately H0.80m × W1.15m × D1.05m, with the wood stacked slightly above the top frame and covered by a recyclable cardboard lid.
Your SingleDeck® is delivered by tail-lift truck and, where access allows, moved by pallet truck closer to where you plan to store it.

Performance. Ash is kiln-dried to below 20% moisture and gives a steady, dependable fire with good heat and a clear flame. It also has very little loose bark or dust when handled.
Use. Start with dry kindling and allow good airflow while the fire is getting established, then adjust the appliance air controls as required. Suitable for wood-burning stoves, open fires, fire pits and other appliances designed for firewood. Always follow the appliance manufacturer’s instructions, use a properly fitting fireguard with open fires and use fire pits outdoors only.
Crate Size. SingleDeck® contains approximately 400kg of firewood. Logs are typically around 25cm long, with natural diameter variation of roughly 7–15cm. The external crate dimensions are approximately H0.80m × W1.15m × D1.05m, with the logs stacked slightly above the top frame. The crate contains approximately 0.8m³ of stacked firewood, with an approximate loose/bulk equivalent of 1.15m³ using the SEAI average conversion factor of 1 stacked m³ = 1.43 bulk m³.
Storage. Store the crate in a dry, well-ventilated location protected from rain and damp. The recyclable cardboard lid covers the logs for delivery but is not intended as long-term outdoor weather protection.
